              Unlocking the Battery
  • Slide the release latches to unlock the battery.

              Removing the Battery
  • Slide the battery and remove it from the computer.
  • If this is all you are doing Follow Step In Reverse if not Go to Next Step.

              Remove the Screws
  • Remove the screws that secure the access panel to the base of the computer.

              Lifting the Access Panel
  • Lift the access panel up at an angle and remove it from the computer.
  • If this is all you are doing Follow Step In Reverse if not Go to Next Step.

  • Remove the screws that secure the hard drive to the system.

  • Lift up the hard drive at an angle from the system and remove.

  • Remove the screws that secure the hard-drive bracket to the hard drive.
