              Remove the Screw

              Prying the Keyboard
  • Starting on the right side of the system, use a plastic scribe to pry up the keyboard from the computer.

              Flipping the Keyboard
  • Flip the keyboard over and lay it on the palmrest.

              Lifting the Clip
  • Lift the clip to release the keyboard cable and disconnect it from the computer.

              Display-Hinge Cover

              Prying the Rubber Pads
  • Using a plastic scribe pry out the rubber pads that cover the front screws on the base cover.

  • Disconnect the power LED cable and the LED board cable from the system board.
