              Unlocking the Battery
  • Slide the release latches to unlock the battery.

  • Slide the battery and remove it from the computer.

              Prying the Tabs
  • Pry up to release the tabs securing the keyboard to the computer.

              Flip the Keyboard
  • Flip the keyboard and lay it on the palm-rest.

              Disconnect the Cable
  • Disconnect the keyboard cable from the system board.

              Remove the Keyboard

  • Remove the screws that secure the bottom base.

              Lifting the Hard Drive
  • Slide and lift the hard drive and lift it out of the computer.
