- Power off the device before disassembly.
- Remove the single 8mm Phillips #1 screw just beneath the lock symbol on the bottom of the laptop.

- Use your screwdriver to shift the tab to the left, towards to Optical Drive.
- Push the tab to the left until the Optical drive is protruding from the side of the laptop.

Step 3
- Pull the Optical Drive firmly out from its slot to remove it from the laptop.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
