Removing the Battery
- Slide and click the battery release latches to keep them open.
- Slide the battery out of the bay.

Removing the Hinge Cover
- Insert a plastic scribe into the indent to lift the hinge cover on the right side.
- Ease the hinge cover up, moving from right to left, and remove it.

Removing the Keyboard
- Remove the four screws at the top of the keyboard.
- NOTICE: The keycaps on the keyboard are fragile, easily dislodged, and timeconsuming to replace. Be careful when removing and handling the keyboard.
- Slide the keyboard toward the back of the computer to disengage the notch on the keyboard from the tab on the base of the computer.
- Lift and remove the keyboard.

Removing the Memory Module
- NOTICE: To prevent damage to the memory module connector, do not use tools to spread the memory-module securing clips.
- Use your fingertips to carefully spread apart the securing clips on each end of the memory module connector until the module pops up.
- Remove the memory module from the connector.
