What you need

              Battery               
  • Slide the battery release latches until they click into place.
  • Slide the battery out of the battery bay.

              Hinge Cover               
  • Open the display all the way so that it rests flat on your work surface.
  • NOTICE: To avoid damage to the hinge cover, do not lift the cover on both sides simultaneously.
  • Insert a plastic scribe into the indent to lift the hinge cover on the right side.
  • Moving from right to left, ease the hinge cover up, then remove it and set it aside.

Open the display all the way so that it rests flat on your work surface.

NOTICE: To avoid damage to the hinge cover, do not lift the cover on both sides simultaneously.

Step 3

              KeyBoard               
  • Remove the two M2.5 x 5-mm screws at the top of the keyboard.
  • NOTICE: The key caps on the keyboard are fragile, easily dislodged, and time-consuming to replace. Exercise care when removing and handling the keyboard.
  • Lift the keyboard and hold it up and slightly forward to access to the keyboard connector.
  • Rotate the keyboard connector latch upward to release the keyboard cable.
  • Slide the keyboard cable out of the keyboard connector.

Remove the two M2.5 x 5-mm screws at the top of the keyboard.

Slide the keyboard cable out of the keyboard connector.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
