- Slide the release latch to release the battery [1].
- Remove the battery from the computer [2].

Optical-Disk Drive
- Remove the M2L3 screw that secures the optical drive to the computer [1].
- Using a plastic scribe, push the tab in the direction of the arrow indicated on the chassis. [2].
- Slide the optical drive out of the computer [3].

Slide the optical drive out of the computer [3].
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
