What you need

Step 1

              Base Cover
  • Remove the screws that secure the back cover to the computer

  • Using a scribe, pry the edges of the back cover from all sides [1].
  • Lift the back cover from the computer [2].

Step 3

              Battery
  • Disconnect the battery cable from the connector on the system board [1].
  • Remove the screws that secure the battery to the computer [2].
  • Lift and remove the battery from the computer [3].

Disconnect the battery cable from the connector on the system board [1].

Remove the screws that secure the battery to the computer [2].

Lift and remove the battery from the computer [3].

Step 4

              Solid State Drive Bracket
  • Remove the screws that secure the SSD bracket [1] .
  • Lift to remove the SSD bracket from the computer [2].

Remove the screws that secure the SSD bracket [1] .

Lift to remove the SSD bracket from the computer [2].

Step 5

              Solid-State Drive
  • Remove the screws that secure the SSD to the computer [1] .
  • Disconnect the SSD from its connector on the system board [2].

Remove the screws that secure the SSD to the computer [1] .

Disconnect the SSD from its connector on the system board [2].

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
