What you need
Step 1
Battery
- Slide the battery release latch until it clicks into place.
- Slide the battery out of the battery bay.

Base Cover
- Loosen the three captive screws on the base cover and lift the base cover off the computer at an angle as shown in the figure.

Hard Drive
- Remove the four screws that secure the hard drive assembly to the computer base.
- Slide the hard drive assembly to the side to disconnect it from the hard drive connector and lift it out of the computer base.

Slide the hard drive assembly to the side to disconnect it from the hard drive connector and lift it out of the computer base.
Step 4
- Remove the four screws that secure the hard drive bracket to the hard drive.
- Lift the hard drive off the hard drive bracket.
Remove the four screws that secure the hard drive bracket to the hard drive.
Lift the hard drive off the hard drive bracket.
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
