              Preparation               
  • I found the device surface pretty slipery so I would advise something than can both protect and prevent it to move so you can work easily
  • Ensure the computer is fully shutdown to prevent any damage or risk
  • Gather the screwdriver
  • Pick closing box to safely put the screws

Step 2

              Remove base cover screw               
  • Using the T5 screwdriver remove all the screws
  • Note that there is no hidden screws

              Remove the base cover               
  • This was the hardest part for me
  • I used the tool opener tools from the iFixIt kit. Starting to work on the angle near the edge of the base screen and then using the spatula to work all along the base

Step 4

              Remove the SSD               
  • Each SSD is located into a dedicated thermal box between the battery and the RAM
  • Each slot is numbered so it will help you getting them in the order you want
  • Use M2x4 screwdriver to unscrew the box from the motherboard
  • Replace/insert the SSD
  • Place the box again and screw it back

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
