When powered on and in use, the surfaces of the laptop becomes extremely hot and may shut off without warning.
Your cooling fan uses an electric motor in order to spin and properly remove heat from the system. It is possible that the has prematurely broken or become blocked by debris. Critical damage to certain parts of your mother can render the board useless completely. To check the motherboard you will have to physically inspect it. The battery receives power through a connection in the motherboard to regulate power going into the battery. If the computer works fine while plugged in but otherwise turns off instantly or doesn’t hold charge when out. The battery needs to be replaced.

A full or nearly full solid state drive will lower speeds when using programs or trying to open new ones. If your drive is above 95% full, consider deleting unnecessary files and temp files.
