Step 1

              Remove battery and base cover.
  • Turn off the computer. Disconnect all power sources before opening the computer cover or panels.
  • Remove the battery and base cover from the computer.

              Take out the coin-cell battery
  • Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable, and take out the coin-cell battery pointing up.

Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable, and take out the coin-cell battery pointing up.

Step 3

              Put in the coin-cell battery
  • Put the coin-cell battery inside its slot.

Put the coin-cell battery inside its slot.

Step 4

              Plug in cable
  • Plug in the coin-cell battery cable to the system board.

Plug in the coin-cell battery cable to the system board.

Step 5

              Put back base cover and battery
  • Put the battery & base cover back on the computer.

Put the battery & base cover back on the computer.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
