- Flip over the laptop.

- Pull back the 2 battery tabs which are to the left and the right of the battery.

- Remove the battery from the laptop.

Bottom Cover
- Remove the 4 Philips #0 screws from the laptop.
Remove the 4 Philips #0 screws from the laptop.

- Remove the bottom cover from the laptop.

Step 6
Heatsink
- Remove the fan connector.
Remove the fan connector.
Step 7
- Remove the 4 Philips #1 screws on the heatsink.
Remove the 4 Philips #1 screws on the heatsink.
Step 8
- Remove the Fan+Heatsink assembly.
Remove the Fan+Heatsink assembly.
Step 9
- Use a paper towel or alcohol swab to clean the thermal paste from the heatsink & CPU.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order. Remember to apply the thermal paste on the CPU!
