What you need

Step 1

              Bottom Cover
  • Remove the ten 8.6 mm JIS #0 screws.

  • Place fingers underneath cover and pull off the cover.

Step 3

              Disconnect coin-cell battery
  • Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the system board.

Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the system board.

Step 4

              Remove coin-cell battery.
  • Release and remove the coin-cell battery from the computer

Release and remove the coin-cell battery from the computer

With your new CMOS battery, reassemble your device by performing the instructions above in reverse order.
