              Remove battery and base cover
  • Shut down your computer. Disconnect all power sources before opening the computer cover or panels.

              Pry securing clips
  • Pry the securing clips away from the memory module until it pops up.

              Remove memory chip (module)
  • Remove the memory module from its connector on the system board by drawing the module from the system board at 45-degree angle.
  • Repeat steps 1 and 2 to add the second memory chip (module).
