Step 1

              Remove battery, SD card and base cover.
  • Shut down your computer. Disconnect all power sources before opening the computer cover or panels.
  • Remove the battery, secure SD card, and base cover from the computer.

              Open rentention clips to remove memory chips.
  • Pry the retention clips away from the memory module until it pops up.

              Remove memory chip from computer.
  • Remove the memory module from the computer.

              Put in memory module; press clips together
  • Insert the memory module into the memory slot.
  • Press the clips to secure the memory module to the system board.

              Install the base cover, SD card, and battery.
  • Install the base cover, secure SD card, and battery to the computer.
