Remove battery, SD card, and base cover.
- Shut down your computer. Disconnect all power sources before opening the computer cover or panels.
- Remove the battery, secure SD card, and base cover from the computer.

Disconnect battery cable from system board.
- Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the system board.

Remove coin-cell battery from the computer.
- Release and remove the coin-cell battery from the computer.

Place coin-cell battery into position.
