Step 1

              Remove battery, SD card, and base cover.               

• Shut down your computer. Disconnect all power sources before opening the computer cover or panels.
• Remove the battery, secure SD card, and base cover from the computer.

              Disconnect battery cable from system board.               

• Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the system board.

Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the system board.

Step 3

              Remove coin-cell battery from the computer.               

• Release and remove the coin-cell battery from the computer.

Release and remove the coin-cell battery from the computer.

Step 4

              Place coin-cell battery into position.               

• Place the coin-cell battery in its location.

              Connect cable to system board.               

• Connect the coin-cell battery cable to the system board.

Connect the coin-cell battery cable to the system board.

Step 6

              Install the base cover, SD card, and battery.               

• Install the base cover, secure SD card, and battery to the computer.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
