Step 1

              Remove the battery
  • Slide the battery release latches into the unlock position.
  • Push and remove the battery from the computer.

              Remove base cover
  • Remove the screws that secure the base cover.
  • Pry the base cover towards the front of the computer and remove it from the computer.

              Pry the retention clips
  • Pry the retention clips away from the memory module until it pops up.

              Removing the Memory Module
  • Lift up the memory module and remove it from the computer.
