              Remove the battery from the computer.
  • Shut down your computer. Disconnect all power sources before opening the computer cover or panels.

              Loosen four screws that secure the computer's access panel; remove access panel.
  • Loosen the four captive screws that secure the access panel to the computer.
  • Remove the access panel from the computer.
