Step 1

              Remove the battery, LED dashboard cover, and keyboard.               

• Shut down your computer. Disconnect all power sources before opening the computer cover or panels.
• Remove the battery, LED dashboard cover, and keyboard.

              Disconnect battery cable from system board; Lift battery out of compartment.               

• Disconnect the battery cable from the system board.
• Lift the battery out of the battery compartment.

              Reconnect battery cable to system board; Reseat battery in compartment.
