Step 1
Remove the battery and memory module cover.
- Remove the battery cable connector from the connector on the system board.

Raise corner of plastic sleeve above the battery; pull battery out.
- Being careful not to break the plastic, slightly raise the corner of the plastic sleeve above the battery.
- While holding the plastic sleeve, grasp the battery and pull it out of the battery compartment.

Insert new coin-cell battery into sleeve; connect cable connector to system board.
