Step 1

              Remove hard drive screws.
  • Shut down your computer. Disconnect all power sources before opening the computer cover or panels.
  • Turn the computer over, and remove the hard drive screws.

Step 2

              Slide out the old hard drive.
  • Slide the hard drive out of the computer.

Slide the hard drive out of the computer.

Step 3

              Remove new hard drive out of package; slide new one into the bay.
  • Remove the new drive from its packaging. Save the original packaging for storing or shipping the hard drive.
  • Slide the hard drive into the bay until it is fully seated.
  • Replace and tighten the screws.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
