Step 1

              Lower Case
  • Remove the following ten T5 screws securing the lower case to the upper case.
  • Two will be 6mm, eight will be 3mm in length.

Step 2

  • Wedge your fingers between the upper case and the lower case.
  • Gently pull the lower case away from the upper case.
  • Remove the lower case and set it aside.

Step 3

              Battery Replacement
  • Disconnect the battery cable.

Disconnect the battery cable.

Step 4

  • Use a PH1 (phillips) bit to unscrew four screws on the battery assembly tabs.

Step 5

  • Take out the battery.

              Motherboard
  • Unplug battery from mother board

  • Pry off peripheral logic boards connected to motherboard.

Step 8

  • Unscrew and remove Motherboard (6 x T6 x 3mm)

Step 9

  • Remove docking cable connecting motherboard to the frame

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
