              Remove the battery, SD card & base cover.
  • Shut down your computer. Disconnect all power sources before opening the computer cover or panels.
  • Remove the battery, SD card & base cover from the computer, respectively.

              Pry open clips; remove memory chip/module from connector.
  • Pry the securing clips away from the memory module until it pops up. Remove the memory module from its connector on the system board.

              Insert memory chip; press down until it clicks into place.
  • Insert the memory module into the memory socket.
  • Press the memory module down until it clicks into place.

              Install the base cover, SD card, & battery.
  • Install the base cover, SD card, & battery on the computer, respectively.
