Step 1

              Remove the following below.               

• Shut down your computer. Disconnect all power sources before opening the computer cover or panels.
• Remove the battery, SD card, base cover, keyboard, and palm-rest assembly from the computer, respectively.

Step 2

              Disconnect coin-cell battery cable; remove from computer.               

• Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable. Pry the coin-cell battery upward and remove it from the computer.

Step 3

              Install [new] Coin-Cell Battery.               

• Place the coin-cell battery in its slot.
• Connect the coin-cell battery cable.

Place the coin-cell battery in its slot.

Connect the coin-cell battery cable.

Step 4

              Install the following below.               

• Install the palm-rest assembly, keyboard, base cover, SD card, and battery on the computer, respectively.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
