What you need

Step 1

              Base Cover Removal
  • Remove the 9 phillips #0 screws from the bottom of the case.
  • Carefully pry open the base cover with your spudger. Work your way around the case slowly, being careful not to damage any of the components inside.
  • Once removed you will have access to the contents of your case.

Step 2

              Battery removal
  • Locate battery in case.
  • Locate three screws that will need to be removed.
  • Locate ribbon attached to battery cable a the top left of the battery and pull straight up on the ribbon.
  • Remove all three screws holding the battery on the main board.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
