The keyboard continues to hesitate and react slowly when typing.
It’s possible that your keyboard’s filter keys are on. Hold down shift for 10 seconds and check if the problem continues.
It’s possible that your keyboard’s driver could be out of date. Go to your Device Manager, and locate the Dell L100. Click update driver, follow the instructions, and check if the problem continues.
The keys being pressed do not match the output on the screen.
If some of your letters are coming out as numbers, number lock is on. Press the number lock key on the right keypad to turn it off.
If your computer is receiving letters that are not a part of your preferred language, press the windows key + the I key. Go to time and language, and select your preferred language.
If a group of keys are not working on your keyboard, you should clean your keyboard with a damp cloth and use a can of compressed air. Allow your laptop to dry and check if the problem continues.
The keys on the keyboard are having difficulty moving up and down.
Dampen a cloth with warm water. Wipe the keys down with the cloth, and check if the problem continues. If the keys are still sticky, you can remove the individual stuck or sticky key caps following the remove keycaps guides.
Some programs, like Microsoft office, may have difficulty with your keyboard.
Make sure that you are using the most current version of the software you are using.
