• Remove the battery from the bottom left of the laptop. It is a long, rectangular shape.

              RAM               

• Remove memory cover on bottom of laptop.
• To view the removal of the memory cover, follow the Dell Inspiron 9100 Memory Replacement.

Step 3

• Pull apart the white plastic tabs on either side of the RAM which will cause it to rise upwards.
• Gently remove the RAM, only touching the edges of the component.
