- Push in the tab on the battery and lift up. The battery should detach very easily.

- The hard drive is located here.

- Use a #00 screwdriver to remove the single screw located in the center of the hard drive cover.

- Pull the hard drive tray directly away from the computer. The tray should slide out easily.

What size is the hard drive, you know, to buy a new one?

Is it a sata drive compatible or pata? It’s older and most laptops from that year hadn’t converted to sata hdd.
