              Battery               
  • Flip laptop upside down and locate the battery as shown in the images.
  • Push in the tab on the battery and lift up. The battery should detach very easily.

              Hard Drive               
  • The hard drive is located here.

  • Use a #00 screwdriver to remove the single screw located in the center of the hard drive cover.

  • Pull the hard drive tray directly away from the computer. The tray should slide out easily.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

What size is the hard drive, you know, to buy a new one?

Is it a sata drive compatible or pata? It’s older and most laptops from that year hadn’t converted to sata hdd.
