Introduction

The hard drive is the device in your computer that stores and retrieves the data that you have saved. If you are running low on space, upgrading your hard drive would allow you to have more space and continue to work. If your hard drive fails, replacing your hard drive will allow you to continue using your computer.

What you need

Step 1

              Hard Drive               
  • Flip computer over to the bottom and slide the latches on both sides of battery outwards.
  • Remove the battery from computer.

Step 2

  • Using a T5 Torx screwdriver, remove a M2.5 x 5mm screw.
  • Slide up on the access door to remove it.

Slide up on the access door to remove it.

Step 3

  • Using a Phillips #00 screwdriver, remove the 1 x M2 x 3mm screw.
  • The hard drive can now be slid out of the computer.

The hard drive can now be slid out of the computer.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
