What you need

Step 1

              Remove battery
  • Turn the laptop over, battery side facing you.
  • Move both latches outward, and then pull back on the battery.

              Remove disc drive
  • Remove the single Philips screw securing the disc drive.
  • Pull the disc drive out.

Remove the single Philips screw securing the disc drive.

Pull the disc drive out.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
