Step 1

              Disconnecting the Antenna Cables
  • WARNING: Before working inside your computer, read the safety information that shipped with your computer and follow the steps in “Before You Begin”.
  • Disconnect the antenna cables from the connectors on the Mini-Card.

Step 2

              Peel the Tape
  • Peel the tape that secures the display cable to the system board and then disconnect the display cable from the connector on the system board.

              Display Cable Routing
  • Make a note of the display cable routing and remove the cable from the routing guides.

              Remove the Screws
  • Remove the screws that secure the display assembly to the computer base.

              Lifting the Display Assembly
  • Lift the display assembly off the computer base.

              Placing the Display Assembly
  • Place the NEW display assembly in position and replace the screws that secure the display assembly to the computer base.

              Route the Display Cable
  • Route the display cable through the routing guides and connect the display cable to the connector on the system board.

  • Adhere the tape that secures the display cable to the system board.

              Connecting the Antenna Cables
