              Remove the Screws
  • Follow the procedures in Before You Begin.
  • Turn the computer over and remove the two hard drive screws.

              Sliding the Hard Drive
  • Slide the hard drive out of the computer.

              Remove the Screws
  • Remove the two screws (one from each side of the hard drive cover), then pull to separate the cover from the hard drive.

              Replace the Hard Drive Cover
  • Replace the hard drive cover and tighten the two screws to secure the cover to the NEW hard drive.

              Sliding the Hard Drive
  • NOTICE: Use firm and even pressure to slide the hard drive into place. Excessive force may result in damage to the connector.
  • Slide the hard drive into the hard drive bay until the drive is fully seated.
