              Battery               

• Power off the laptop and wait 20 minutes before beginning disassembly.
• Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove 15 screws from the bottom of the laptop.

• Slide the DVD drive out of the laptop.
• Remove the three screws underneath using a micro screwdriver.
• Pry off the back cover of the laptop using an opening tool.

Step 3

• Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove the two screws attached to the metal bracket holding down the battery.
• Remove the screw attached to the laptop battery using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

Remove the screw attached to the laptop battery using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

Step 4

• Disconnect the battery connecting cable from the laptop by sliding it out.
• Confirm the new battery is correct for this laptop model by looking at the battery type and power.

Step 5

• Attach the cable for the new battery to the laptop by sliding the cable into the port.
