              Sliding the Battery Latch

Ensure that the computer is turned off.
Turn over the computer.
Slide the battery-bay latch release lock on the bottom of the computer away from the battery.

              Remove the Battery

Slide and hold the battery-bay latch release, and then remove the battery from the bay.

Slide and hold the battery-bay latch release, and then remove the battery from the bay.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
