Introduction
Ensure the battery is still experiencing problems before working on the components.
Before working on the device, power down the computer and clear all debris once the back of the device has been opened.
What you need

- Using the Phillips #0 screwdriver, remove ten 4 mm screws from the back panel.
- Lift and remove the back panel.

- Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the two 3 mm screws securing the battery to the laptop.

- Remove the battery up and out of the computer.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
For optimal performance, after completing this guide, calibrate your newly installed battery.
Take your e-waste to an R2 or e-Stewards certified recycler.
