Make sure that device is fully powered down before attempting to open the back case.
Remove all seven 8mm Philips #0 screws from the back case with a Philips #0 screwdriver.
Once all seven screws are removed, you can pry the case off using your fingers or a plastic opening tool.

Step 2

Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to unscrew the four 8 mm screws that secure the battery.

Step 3

Use a plastic spudger to push the bundled cable connector free in the same direction as the individual wires are running.
You can use your fingers to help pull the cable free. Pull evenly on the full width of the cable so that no individual wires are overly strained.
Proceed to gently remove the battery from the back panel.
