              Remove the Screws               
  • Remove the screws that secure the display assembly to the computer base.

              Open the Display               
  • Turn the computer over and open the display.

              Disconnecting the Video-Card Connector               
  • Disconnect the video-card connector cable from its connector on the system board.

              Disconnecting the Display Cable               
  • Pull the pull-tab to disconnect the display cable from its connector on the system board.

  • Disconnect the LED-logo board cable from its connector on the system board.

              Disconnecting the Antenna Cables               
  • Disconnect the antenna cables from the connectors on the Mini-Card. See “Removing the Wireless Mini-Card” on page 105.

              Removing the Cables               
  • Note the routing of the antenna cables, and then remove the cables from the routing guides on the computer base.

              Remove the Screws               
  • Remove the screw that secures the routing guides to the computer base.

              Lifting the Routing Guides               
  • Slide and lift the routing guides off the computer base.

  • Remove the screws, on the display hinges, that secure the display assembly to the computer base.

              Lifting the Display Assembly               
  • Move the display to a perpendicular position to the computer base, and then lift the display assembly off the computer.

              Placing the Display Assembly               
  • Place the NEW display assembly in position and replace the screws, on the display hinges, that secure the display assembly to the computer base.

              Replace the Screw               
  • Place the routing guides on the computer base and replace the screw that secures the routing guides to the computer base.

  • Route the Mini-Card antenna cables through the routing guides on the computer base.

              Connecting the Display Cable               
  • Connect the Mini-Card antenna cables to the Mini-Card. See"Replacing the Wireless Mini-Card" on page 107.
  • Connect the display cable, video-card connector cable, and LED-logo board cable to the respective connectors on the system board.
