              Remove the base cover screws               
  • Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the three screws securing the base cover.

              Slide the Cover               
  • Slide the base cover towards the rear of the computer and lift it off the computer base.

              Remove the battery screws               
  • Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the two screws securing the battery to the computer base.

              Disconnect the battery cable               
  • Disconnect the battery cable from its connector by pulling it straight up from its socket.
