              Batteries
  • Unscrew the pommel located at the bottom of the hilt of the lightsaber by turning it to the right.

  • Shake the Lightsaber allowing the force to be with you. Do not worry, you will not break your Lightsaber.
  • Grab the hilt and the pommel.
  • Pull the battery pack out of the lightsaber slowly.
  • Be sure to only pull hard enough for the battery pack to be visible. Pulling any harder may cause damage to your Lightsaber.

Grab the hilt and the pommel.

Step 3

  • Once you have access to your Lightsaber’s noise blocker and battery pack begin the battery removal process.
  • Remove the velcro & electrical tape around the battery pack.
  • Check to see if the electrical tape around the noise blocker and battery pack can be reused or if it needs to be replaced.

Step 4

  • Remove the batteries from the battery pack.
  • Then get your new AAA batteries ready. For this guide we are using the ‘Energizer’ brand, but any AAA brand will work.
  • Place your fully charged AAA batteries into the battery pack.
  • Repeat the battery pack removal process in reverse to secure the battery pack and noise blocker inside your Lightsaber.
  • Call your local solid waste district to find out if your community has a collection program for properly disposing of household batteries.

  • Push the button on your Lightsaber’s hilt to turn it on.

If your Dark Apprentice Ultrasaber v5 turns on by pressing the ON button located on the hilt, you have successfully changed the batteries in your Lightsaber.
