Jump Ring
- Locate where the earring stud/hook has detached.
- Look at the two pieces of the dangle earrings for a small loop or jump ring on both pieces.

- Using a chain nose plier, carefully grip the jump ring by its side.
- Use a cutting plier to cut a small opening in the loop.

- With both pliers use the cutting plier to gently grip the side of the small jump ring.
- Using the small nose chain pliers pull back on the small jump ring to create an opening.

- With the small chain nose pliers grip the jump ring.
- Insert the stud/hook portion of the earring into the jump ring.

- Use the jump ring to reattach the the stud.
- With the small chain nose pliers grip the jump ring.
- Insert the main portion of the earring into the jump ring with the stud/hoop.

- Use both pliers to close the loop.
- Firmly grip the edge of the loop using a pair of cutting pliers.
- With a pair of small chain grip pliers gently push the end of the jump ring forward to close the loop.

Step 7
- Gently tug on either side of the earring to ensure the loop is closed securely.
- If this test fails, refer back to step 6.
