What you need

  • Use a screwdriver to remove the four screws that are next to the grip pads on the bottom of the motor base.

  • Remove the black plastic covering from the motor base.

  • Locate the connections between the power cord and the brown and white wires. Cut off these connections.

  • Strip the plastic coating off the edge of the brown and white wires using a wire stripper.

  • Create a connection between the brown and white wires and the wires of the new power cord by soldering them together.

  • Fit the wires back into the motor base and place the new power cord in the slot.

There’s not an exact replacement from Cuisinart, but a two prong replacement will work. I found one “Lamp Cord Set - Black - PLT 56-1854-50 | 1000Bulbs.com” https://www.1000bulbs.com/product/137344… that would work.
