What you need
Step 1
Unfasten the saw housing
- Unplug the power cord before you begin.
- Use a Phillips #2 screwdriver to remove the eight screws securing the saw housing:
- Four 20 mm screws
- Two 50 mm screws
- Two 55 mm screws

Remove the housing bracket
- Remove the metal housing bracket.
Remove the metal housing bracket.

Remove the saw housing
- Remove the saw housing.

Step 4
Unfasten the power cord
- Use a Phillips #2 screwdriver to remove the two screws securing the power cord grommet retention bracket.

Step 5
Remove the retention bracket
- Remove the power cord grommet retention bracket.
Remove the power cord grommet retention bracket.
Step 6
Disconnect the power cord wires
- Use a Phillips #2 screwdriver to loosen the two screw terminals securing the power cord wires to the main switch.
- Remove the power cord wires from the main switch.
- Take note of which lead connects to which terminal for reassembly purposes.
- During reassembly, if the replacement power cord is not pre-fitted with crimped wire ends, ensure about a 1/2" of insulation is stripped from the end of the wires. Twist the wire strands before inserting them into the terminals.
Use a Phillips #2 screwdriver to loosen the two screw terminals securing the power cord wires to the main switch.
Remove the power cord wires from the main switch.
Take note of which lead connects to which terminal for reassembly purposes.

Remove the power cord
- Remove the power cord and power cord grommet from the rest of the saw body.

Remove the power cord grommet
- Slide the power cord out of the power cord grommet.
Slide the power cord out of the power cord grommet.
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
