Unfasten the blade
- Unplug the power cord before you begin.
- The saw blade is sharp, in order to prevent injury, you may want to wear protective gloves when handling it.
- Depress the spindle lock button to prevent the blade from spinning when you unfasten it.
- While depressing the spindle lock, use a 3/16 hex key to remove the socket set screw securing the blade in place.

Remove the blade
- Remove the blade.
- When replacing with a new blade, ensure the two pegs on the face of the rotor mate with the holes in the blade.
- Tighten the new blade with the socket set screw firmly before use. Ensure the spindle lock is pulled before turning the saw on.
