Step 1

              Power Cord
  • Remove 2 mm screw with a Phillips #0 screwdriver.
  • Make sure curling wand is unplugged and cooled before beginning.

  • Remove the next 4 mm screw with a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

  • Use a flat head screwdriver to assist in prying open the plastic housing.

Step 4

  • Gently open the plastic housing making sure to evenly pull apart the plastic so it does not bend or snap.

  • Remove the plastic ring on the bottom of the curling iron by wiggling back and forth and pulling down.
  • Use your flat head screwdriver for assistance if the plastic housing is firmly in place and does not move.

Step 6

  • Locate the power cord and remove it by unplugging from the housing.
  • Plug the new cord into the same location.
