Step 1
CFL Lightbulb
- Locate the bad bulb and remove it from the socket. This is achieved by grabbing the bulb lightly and rotating counter-clockwise.
- The bulb may be hot. If so, use gloves, or wait for it to cool.

Step 2
- Procure a new lightbulb, either from a hardware store, or wherever it is you keep new ones.
- Install the new lightbulb into the socket, this time rotating clockwise.
- Be sure the power to the socket is turned off before you preform this step. Failure to do so my cause injury.

Step 3
- Turn the power on to the light socket by means of a switch or knob.
- Congratulations! You have successfully changed a lightbulb! Reward your efforts by getting a cold beverage of your choice.

You shouldn’t unscrew/screw CFL Bulb from its tube because there is a very small risk that it will break (Especially if it has the tubular shape (2U, 3U and 4U)). Try to unscrew/screwing it from its plastic base.
