What you need

Step 1

              Locate the release button.               
  • Look for the release button on the back of the radio.
  • Press the button and pull down on the battery at the same time. The battery will come free.

              Antenna               
  • Twist the antenna counter-clockwise to unscrew it from the antenna jack.

              Dials               
  • Pull up on the dials to remove them from the underlying pegs.

              Exterior Case               
  • Using a T15 Torx screwdriver, unscrew the two screws.
  • Using a plastic opening tool, pry the internal case from the external case.

Step 5

              Speaker               
  • Locate the device’s speaker inside the front panel of the exterior case.
  • Locate the display and speaker stabilizer.
  • Lift the stabilizer up from the bottom and pull the stabilizer out of case.

Step 6

  • Locate the two 3.75mm screws holding the speaker to the exterior case.
  • Using a T15 Torx screwdriver, unscrew the 3.75mm screws.

Using a T15 Torx screwdriver, unscrew the 3.75mm screws.

Step 7

  • Lift up on the bottom of the speaker to detach the speaker.
  • Pull the speaker out of the case.

Pull the speaker out of the case.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
