Step 1

              Safety precautions
  • Before you begin, make sure that the machine is turned off.
  • For safety purposes, disconnect the spark plug.
  • Grab the plastic housing at the end of the spark plug wire.
  • Pull firmly to disconnect the wire from the spark plug.

  • Place wheel chocks against the roller and rear wheel to prevent the machine from moving.

              Unscrew the blade
  • Use a 1/2" socket wrench to remove the six 1 inch-long bolts securing both ends of the blade. You may need to use a 1/2" combination wrench to hold the nuts in place.

Step 4

              Remove the blade
  • The blade can be very sharp! Do not handle the blade from the cutting edge.
  • Grasp the back of the blade and slide it away from the mount.
  • Remove the blade.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
