Broken rear light
- Make sure you find the right component for the correct side of your car.
- You’ve broken your rear light. Unfortunately you can’t just replace the transparent cover. The whole unit needs replacement.

Locate the internal panel opening
- You can lift the cover carefuly just by using a plastic sort of credit card or a flat scewdriver.
- Locate the internal panel opening. Use the little dent on the top corner of the little cover to open it.

Lift and remove the little panel cover
- Lift the cover lifting from the top right corner.

Locate screw and electric cable connector
- The top most electric connector will need your attention.
- In order to remove the broken light you’ll have to remove just 3 screws, two are behind the little panel. One is the one right most visible in the picture.

Step 5
Unscrew the light unit
- Unscrew the light unit with a 6 points star tip. Of the 3 screws, two are behind the panel and one is outside near the edge of the lid.

Disconnect cable
- Disconnect the topmost cable connector. This is also the bigger one in size.

Note the screw hols and the connector
- Also the cabling connector is now detached.
- Note the 3 hols left where the screws were removed.

Step 8
Replace the light unit
- Connect the cable and fit the small cover lid.
- Put the screws back to fix firm the light unit.
- With the new light, slide in the cable trough the square hole and push the new unit in place.
- Remove the broken unit, wipe clean the edges holding the unit. Now repeat the steps in reverse to fit the new light unit.

Job done
- Unfortunately the unit is tight sealed and it is not possible to change only the transparent cover. In that way the light is well water tight and free of finger prints that may be left in tempering with replacing internal bits of the unit.
