Step 1

              Chassis               
  • Remove 4 self-adhesive plastic dots covering the screw holes.

  • Remove the four 2mm screws with a Phillips screwdriver.

Remove the four 2mm screws with a Phillips screwdriver.

Step 3

  • Remove the back and bottom cover.

  • Disconnect the battery connector from the motherboard with a plastic opening tool.

Step 5

  • Disconnect the microphone connector from the motherboard with a plastic opening tool.

Disconnect the microphone connector from the motherboard with a plastic opening tool.

Step 6

  • Remove the display ribbon cable from its socket with a plastic opening tool.

Step 7

  • Remove the volume knob from the side of the Chumby One with a plastic opening tool.

Step 8

  • Remove the four 6mm screws using a PH000 bit on the inner chassis.

Step 9

  • Remove the inner components from the outer shell.

              Speaker               
  • Remove the speaker wire connector from the motherboard.

Remove the speaker wire connector from the motherboard.

Step 11

  • Remove the four 5mm screws on the speaker base with a Phillips PH00 screwdriver bit.

Remove the four 5mm screws on the speaker base with a Phillips PH00 screwdriver bit.

Step 12

  • Remove the speaker.

Remove the speaker.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
